There is a big difference between the two most popular types of custom rubber stamps in use these days, and the funny thing is, their names really don’t help people understand real well exactly what the difference is.  That’s why, as the Rubber Stamp Champs, we’ve sought to clear the whole matter up.

In a nutshell, self inking rubber stamps work with a spring-loaded inner die that impacts an inner pad when the stamp is flexed up and down…they are like old hand rubber stamps with a pad set-up only in a uniquely automated way inside a plastic body.  The pre inked stamps do not move up and down, and their ink is not on an inner pad but actually impregnated in the custom die plate itself.

Self inking stamps are less expensive, pre inked ones leave a slightly more crisp, clean impression….and deliver up to 50,000 impressions without re-inking rather than the 6 or 8 thousand you get from a self-inker.  The choice is yours, both work great, are easy to design, proof and order online and both will save you a ton of writers cramp…and at our Knockout Prices…they’ll save you a ton of dough as well.
