Check Stamping Rubber Stamps
If you need to use rubber stamps to stamp on checks one of the things you need to decide is if you want a self inking rubber stamp to stamp checks, or if you want to stamp checks with a pre inked stamp.
Everyone has pretty much heard the two terms, self inking rubber stamp and pre inked rubber stamp, but not that many people know what the difference is. Now self inking stamps have a pretty descriptive name, and when they first came out they were the only alternative to hand stamps that you use with a pad. So the difference was clear, you had rubber stamps you had to ink with a pad, and then you had these new fangled things that had a little inner pad, and the die flips up and lo and behold they ink themselves. So not hard to distinguish between non self inking and self inking. Then along came pre inked stamps. Now what does that mean. It’s actually a pretty good description as well, as it means simply that these types of rubber stamps have now inner working mechanism like the self inking stamps, but instead have the actual text plate or die as it its called, impregnated with ink. So you just press them on the paper and the impression is transferred.
They are a little more expensive than self inking and they also deliver a ton more impressions. So for bank deposit stamps the choice is yours, self inking, pre inked or the traditional hand stamps, at rubber stamp champ, we have them all and we have them all at great prices.
